<br>I don't recall ever hearing _any_ of the words you list.  I do recall
<br>it being called a stocking cap.  That was in Los Angeles, where it's
<br>not a common article of apparel.  Think I heard it from a native of
<br>northern Florida (a bit south of Georgia) -- another place where it's
<br>not likely to be a common article of apparel.
