This is true-- I've seen variations on the spelling of the word,
although it's usually either "googol" or "googool". For more

Back to the "gazillion" discussion... I have also seen (albeit less
often) the word "bazillion" used. It's pretty clear as to what they're
supposed to convey, but I have no idea about the origin of these words.
