Like Martha Howard, I am a native speaker of Pig Latin. So ask away.



I am interested in the influence of Pig Latin on SAE. The only

example at my disposal is "Ixnay" = SAE "Nix" = "Shut up about a

certain topic". E.g., "Ixnay on the Irlfriendgay" as I once said,

to try to quelch a discussion about a former girlfriend in the

presence of a current fiance. (Ou sont les neiges d'antan?)
