On DUH: my daughter Erika (who's 28) used this in its earlier form of DOY in
elementary school 20 yrs ago. My 11 yr-old at the same school says DUH to
underscore a really stupid, obviously true assertion, such as only a parent can
make. Now often preceeded by LIKE. So the form has been around a good while
and may have initially been a portmanteau of Duh + Oy in Athens.
