<br>Just wanted to let folks know that this weekend I picked up the first volume of
<br> the Random House Dictionary of American Slang for $16, brand-new, from the
<br> Strand at Broadway and 12th St. here in Manhattan. Considering that volume two
<br> sells there for $60, I think this is a bargain.
<br>
<br>There were a bunch more copies of volume one, if you're interested. Call them at

<br>I also, finally, found the 1977 printing of Mencken's American Language with the
<br> two supplemental volumes, as a set for $30. It was a big weekend.
