(This p.s. may end up ahead of the posting it's a ps to since our

overloaded, clogged system has been spitting mail out erratically

the past couple of days.) I got a note today from Eric Thomas, the

person who wrote listserv, saying that the spam-filter in the next

version of listserv should be able to catch spam even on the lists

that are early in the alphabet.
