A three-track road, from my rural Missouri days, has *three* ruts. The left

tires of traffic going one way and the right tires of traffic going the

other share the middle rut, ...



I've seen this twice and have to believe that no matter which way the traffic

is going it is always the left tires of the vehicles sharing the middle rut!
