Ellen metions the guy in Georgia with invariant "he". A farmer in Fulton

County, Illinois, used to take a bunch of us on hikes. He wold lecture

us about woodchucks (he) and even plants (he). There is some South

Midland speech in Fulton county, though you confederates wouldn't

recognize it, I'm sure, as "southern."
