Having just watched Jungle Fever with a class studying African American

Literature (that included films) I am reminded that I still don't really know

what an egg cream is. I think I do but I've never been sure. I've always

thought it was like the bottom chocolate fizzy part of a chocolate soda, only

vanilla. Vicki, I am sure you can set me straight.
