Quarter to noon, half past noon. Sure. Noon thirty? No.

But dark thirty was often when my father went to bed. Sometimes we had to

work in the fields till dark thirty to get things finished. We said so, but

it didn't really happen.

Dawn thirty? No. 'Half past break time' would work for me. Now, of course,

I'm into extended uses.
