If you have access to VCR equipment, the _Story of English_ is an

excellent source of dialect differences in World English. Of course

there is a book and workbook (which is particularly helpful in

outlining phonetic differences) to that series as well.

J.C. Wells' _Accents of English_ is "too much reading," but it has

accompanying tapes (if I remember correctly) that may be useful to

you.
