was not my first car, but it was my first one after I started earning what

then passed for a real salary. In one of life's little ironies, I bought

it (a 1963 TR-3B) in Knoxville many years before I had any thought of moving

here. Bought it and drove it home to Springfield, Mo. It was powder blue--and of

course I called it The Blue Bitch. What a car!
