1. A newsgroup I subscribe to (rec.music.filk [sic]) posts its FAQ periodically, about every two

weeks. That would be

burdensome to a mailing list, but a periodic reminder would not be. It could take such a form as:

available on the Web at http://..., or by email by the following

procedure. Please read it if you're new to the list.

It was most recently revised as of [date].



2. Anyone pointing their students to this list, singly or en masse, should require that they read the

FAQ first.
