There is much that DInIs says and writes that I agree with, though I think

he ought to sign his name dInIs because the cap D confuses the issue. And

I agree that it is unnecesary and foolish to redefine a field's listserv to

serve popular notions. Hell, I'll even join ADS when someone sends the

info about how to join. But on a more serious note, I think you make a

mistake If you limit the list's membership.
