"SOUNDING THE SNOOZERS"

"SOUNDING THE SNOOZERS" is a cant phrase among the young pickpockets of

New York. One of them was caught a night or two ago in fishing a watch from

the pocket of a man, who, overcome by his potations, was taking a sleep at his

own door.
