Winnie and Quillar owned mules and horses that my father would borrow, so

they were better than we were. And Winnie wrote poetry, so she tried to

sound soooo modren when she talked about certain topics. We all thought

it was ironic and humorous. Her metathesized pronunciation was like

Tom Clark's radio-announcer friend's hyper pronunciation.
