My "good news" message to one individual yesterday was inadvertently posted

to the whole ADS-L. I apologize for cluttering your mailbox.

But in case you're curious, it was a reply to a request for a copy of the

latest issue of the Newsletter of the American Dialect Society. ADS members

will get their copies by first-class mail this week. As I previously
