Danny Pearl of WSJ called me last week because he had seen my piece on
"information superhighway" in the Chicago Tribune. I put him on to
David Barnhart and Fred Mish. He says Al Gore claims to have invented
the phrase 10 or 15 years ago. I said I had no idea--could be true, but
Barnhart and Mish were in the best position to offer cites. I also told
him I thought I was seeing the form _information highway_ more often
in the past couple of weeks.
