"sinister" + suave + subtle --- British accents.

plottingly "sinister" + a bit crude -- not upper-class British accent.

A Dracula theme adapted to an American setting wouldn't use a Brit in the

same way. I think other features besides accent come into play, particularly

setting. British and American accents in Rome, Prague, Transylvania,

Istanbul, Reykjevik, New York, Niagara Falls, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los

Angeles, Phoenix, Houston, New Orleans, Montgomery would carry different

connotations. DMLance
