Subject: Re: Gullah Bible

In addition to Wayne Glowka's question, I'd like to inquire about Black Bible Chronicles. New York: African American Family P. which I read about in I

think it was *Harper's* last month. I've asked our library to get not only

the Gullah version of Luke but also the Black Bible Chronicles, which are

described as being written in BEV. Andrew Young is one of the people involved

in the project. The BEV replicated in the Harper's story seemed to me highly

suspect, and I'm wondering if any of the list members have more information/

evaluation of this project.
