Actually, I was a member of NCTE back when I sometimes taught a course in

Methods of Teaching High School English, and I strongly urged all the

students in that course to join. And I once read a paper at CCCC. Isn't

it somehow related to NCTE?



I do agree with the points that have been made about the importance of

increased communication between k-12 and universities and am very glad

that at least a few ADSers are active in NCTE.
