I haven't seen _Clueless_, though I know it got decent reviews. I just

heard, however, that it's a sort of version/adaptation/something of Jane

Austin's _Emma_. Is this so? It is now available on video. Worthwhile?



The plot is loosely based on _Emma,_ though you probably wouldn't

realize it unless your were told or were a big Austen fan. Most

people I know think it was fantastic. I enjoyed it a lot, but had

already read the script when I saw it so didn't appreciate it as

much. But it's certainly worth seeing, esp. on video.
