From Deep South Texas, it sounds natural to me to have one's picture MADE

at school -- it happened to me every year in elementary school. It seemed

(and seems) to carry a bit of inescapable coercion with it, or something

institutional and professional. I would certainly go to a professional

photographer to have pictures made for a graduation, a yearbook, a wedding,

etc. But I (or a friend or relative with a camera) would be more likely

to take pictures, and such pictures more likely to be taken than made.
