It seems to me that the alternatives are [aetlaen(t)uh] or

[uh?laen(t)uh]--where [uh] = schwa, [?] = glottal stop, and the

second [t] is optional in either case.





I've heard a lot of a pron with no stops at all: [[AT SYMBOL GOES HERE] 'laen [AT SYMBOL GOES HERE]]. The [n]

may be tapped.
