This makes me think of my niece, whose first way of forming negatives

was to tack "no" onto the end of a positive statement. For instance,

on the occasion of her first haircut, she was waiting her turn,

watching the hairdresser cut her older sister's hair, and expressed

her distrust of the whole procedure: "I like that man, no!"

I have no idea of how common this phenomenon is in English language

acquisition.
