Allan Metcalf, ADS Executive Secretary, will be on C-SPAN's "Booknotes this

coming Sunday, January 18, at 8 p.m. and again at 11 p.m. It will be an hour-

long interview with host Brian Lamb about the book he and David Barnhart wrote

_America in So Many Words_. I'm going to try to find a twelve year old in the

neightborhood to help me tape it; I suspect it will be useful in class.
