Subject: literary words
i find it strange that people keep refering to "waft" as a literary
word, which people are likely to have to look up in the dictionary.
is my vocabulary really weird? i'm pretty sure i use "waft" more than
"raft" (dinner smells wafting, graceful people wafting). maybe
that just says a lot about my lifestyle. (of course, i probably hear
"raft" more--on airplanes and such. or maybe not, since there they
have "flotation devices".)
wafting through cyberspace,
