I found that interesting. You might expect to hear "smelt" somewhere back

in the hills, but not from the mouth of an obviously middle class woman in

a commercial made for national distribution. Yet it had to be intentional.



i dunno, i'd say 'smelt'. perhaps i've just been living among the

britishy-speaking for too long, though.
