Subject: Re: same old six and seven

I thought "same old six and seven" referred to daily working hours (6a.m.

to 7 p.m.) I've also heard "seven and seven." Another version of an

answer to the question "so how's it going" is "well, it's just can't see

to can't see," which I assumed referred to working from dawn to dark

without meaning anything extraordinary about this, but rather that it's

the same old thing. "Same old same old" is just reinforcement of the

boredom concept by reduplication, isn't it?
