Have known "in jig time" all my life, beginning in Toronto.

Suspect I got it from mother, who, though Canadian of several

generations, has Irish roots, and, I have latterly discovered,

used/uses many a phrase that I thought everyone knew, but that

turn out only to be known by Irish and their descendents.
