A salad shooter is an electric device for slicing carots, etc. I don't

own one, have never used one, so perhaps someone else can give

details (how well do they work?).



My sister, bless her heart, gave us a salad shooter as a Christmas present

some years back. It's a motorized circular grater with a feed tube that

ideally shoots out the vegetables. It's supposed to shred cheese, but when

we tried,the cheese gummed it up--too soft. Carrots--too hard & came out

chunky. It's in a drawer somewhere.
