Dear ADS subscribers,
This is a notice to publicise a mailing list which we
have recently established. It is called the English Dialect
Information Exchange and is intended to be a discussion and
information forum for all interested in all apects of English
Dialects. As it has only just been set up subscribers are as yet few,
but hopefully through notices such as this there will be sufficient
interest to generate a worthwhile and interesting list. Please feel
free to forward this notice to other linguistic circles who may be
interested. For more information on the list and on how to
