Hi Don. I just got a message from the student who told me about the

dictionary. He said its the edition in which Calvert Watkins wrote an

etymological key in the back of the dictionary. I wasn't aware of any

of this until he told me about it. It sounded very useful so now I'm

trying to track one down. It sounds like the paperback you mentioned

would have been nice. It's a shame that good books go out of print.
