Subject: Re: gapers' block

Here in Seattle, I have heard "rubber-neckers" and "gawkers", never

"gapers". I believe one traffic reporter refered to a slowdown caused

by the "Mt. Rainier factor" (i.e. because of a particularly spectacular

view of Mt. Rainier). The most common radio term is that something is

"causing a distraction".

Is that term used elsewhere? If not, what?

Here in Washington they are refered to as "Rubber-neckers".

Was that Seattle, Yakima, or Spokane?
