<br>As English becomes more and more an international language through
<br>mass media and its present convenience as a second language in
<br>business, travel, etc., I predict we will see vast changes like the
<br>recently discussed functional shift and catch-all preposition
<br>(perhaps normalizing generalizations and exceptions right out of the
<br>language). And why not?
