Another pretty common misunderstanding is the use of "jive" where "jibe" =

technically correct, as in:

I hear "jive" for "jibe" in such cases, more often "jive", I think. =
Influence of once very frequent slang "jive", I suppose, and the relative=
unfamiliarity and lower frequency of "jibe".
