I think you're thinking of Joe Hill, the labor organizer who was executed

in Utah over protests from people including President Wilson. Last

telegram: "Don't mourn. Organize." Famous song about him: "I dreamed I

saw Joe Hill last night/alive as he could be" etc.



Anyone have more info on the Sam Hall song, and whether it is in fact

British?
