Subject: abortion in dictionaries



i've heard that there is some controversy regarding the definition of

'abortion' in american dictionaries. has anyone written a paper on

this? if so, i need a reference for it.



also, i know there are a lot of lexicographers on this list, but is

there a lexicography discussion list?
