I recall when I was in high school, a classmate telling me quite seriously

that Dr. Pepper contained prune juice, and that his uncle, who was a doctor,

prescribed it as a medication. It is one of my favorite drinks (being a

Texan), but it has never had any of the supposed effects of prune juice on me.
