Though it's a difficult text, the authors make some gesture toward explaining what, for example, a phonological analysis is, instead of giving cryptic problems unanchored to anything. But it's huge and I can't possibly teach all of it. Two of my colleagues have been using Finnegan and like it. One tried Gee but it was filled with editing problems.
