set ads-l nomail



Be sure to send it from the address your mail comes to -- in your case

the Duke address, not the AOL address. The AOL address is already on

'nomail'.



I trust that anybody who has run into problems with our change to

"send=private" has let me know. But only two or three people have.

I'm hoping that the new version of listserv with an improved spam filter

will be out before too much longer and we can go back to "send=public."

P.S. When you want to start getting mail again after setting 'nomail',

the command is 'set ads-l mail'.
