Hi. I want to thank everyone who responded to my questions

concerning expressions I remember from growing up in central

West Virginia. I left there when I was a teenager, and have

lived in northern New England for about 30 years. So, I

occasionally find myself (shudder) 'packing' my 'caa' in

the 'dowah yad', going 'overtown' to the store, and commenting

about those 'summah people from away'.

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving to all.
