When I worked at the Marion (Ind.) Chronicle-Tribune, we referred to our

competitor in Wabash, The Wabash Plain Dealer, as the "Grain Stealer." (Of

course, our own loyal readers sometimes called us the "Cornicle-Tribune.")

And, here in Franklin, served by the Johnson County Daily Journal, there are

those who change the last word to "Urinal," which is probably standard for

any paper with that name.
