The local Austin American-Statesman is known in some circles as the

Austin Real Estatesman because of their relentless boosting of all that

is dear to local land developers. About half the city is pleased with said

boosting and half is enraged by it.



Texas journalists refer to the Dallas Morning Snooze (Morning News, and

it is pretty dull) and the Fort Worth Startlegram (Star-Telegram).
