Thanks, Al, for the clarification. I guess that I am enough of a liberal

that I abhor the politics of 'most ALL politicians to the right of Edward

Kennedy (and he is pretty far right for my tastes on some issues). But

it is encouraging to know that the tetimony of Rev. Coleman lends further

pragmatic support to my conclusion that Sen. Ford could have been telling

the truth on the issue of his remark that many construed to have been

racist.
