Re: prison slang, in southern prisons, at least, "sissy" has a definite homosexual connotation, and always with reference to that person the user claimed was

passive participant." I have not found the term "tomboy" with the same rconnotation. However, "boy" can also have a homosexual connotation, again

in a perjorative sense connected with ownership of the partner, e.g. "my boy."
