Looking for information. You know the old story about 'gringo' having its

origin in 'Green Grows the Laurel'? I have seen this refuted several times,

but cannot find the refutations. Can anybody enlighten me as to the pros

and cons of this question?



I heard it as "Green Grow the Lilacs". Guess that's little help.
