Looking for information. You know the old story about 'gringo' having its

origin in 'Green Grows the Laurel'? I have seen this refuted several

times, but cannot find the refutations. Can anybody enlighten me as to

the pros and cons of this question?







I was told by my friend in Puerto Rico that I was a gringo because I was

Italian and a white cacucassion...have I beee tricked?

I assumed it was the Spanish way of making fun of me...like a wop!
