Aye. I* remember learning a song in which either the chorus or every

verse ended "way down yonder in the paw-paw patch".



Not that I lived around there. I grew up in the suburbs of NYC

(Westchester) and then the city itself, in the fifties & sixties, but I was

exposed to a lot of folk music and irrevocably infected.
