Yes, around Louisville in the 40's and 50's we always pronouned the "d." We
said /wInzdi/. I never heard anybody say /wInzi/.
Yuk-yuk-yuk. Well, you have to be in a good mood when the snow flies in
Michigan.

Does anyone know if the "d" in "Wednesday" is routinely pronounced
anywhere in the English speaking world?
